Hitting
Lockhart never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Lockhart doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Lockhart you're not putting him in for his glove. Keith's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
If Lockhart doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
