Tony Longmire
Left Fielder | Free Agents
Hitting The book on Longmire is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Let's face facts: Longmire hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense When you play Longmire you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Longmire often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.
