Pitching
Magrane also has a decent changeup. If you're going in to face Magrane, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Magrane, and that's saying a lot. He frequently leaves fastballs up in the strike zone, where they get pounded. He's almost as effective against righthanders as he is versus lefthanders.

Defense & Hitting
He has a fair pickoff move and isn't a particularly easy target for basestealers. Magrane is nothing special in the field. Magrane is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Magrane has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Magrane as a pinch-runner on occasion.

But if you ask me, I'll pass on Magrane.
