Dan Masteller
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Masteller never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Masteller has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Dan Masteller to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Masteller you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. Masteller isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
