Maxwell never has been a patient hitter. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to right-center.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate, and he knows when to unload or take his time. Maxwell isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
