Joe McCaskill
Third Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
One of McCaskill's strongest assets is his performance with men in scoring position. Joe McCaskillis Mr. Clutch. McCaskill never has been a patient hitter. McCaskill always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit McCaskill when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. It's hard to explain but Joe McCaskill plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with McCaskill signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play McCaskill you're not putting him in for his glove. Joe's arm leaves a little to be a desired. McCaskill has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed McCaskill to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
