Hitting
One of the nice things about Ezequiel is that he's a real clutch hitter. Messmore never has been a patient hitter. Let's face facts: Messmore hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Ezequiel Messmore to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Ezequiel's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
