Hitting
In past seasons, Natal has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Natal always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The St. Louis Cardinals do tend to sit Natal when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Natal is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
The St. Louis Cardinals signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Natal like a hot potato if something better comes along.
