Hitting
Orie always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Orie isn't a fluid third baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Orie has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.
