Pitching
He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. When his release point drops below three-quarters, his fastball tends to hang in the strike zone. If you're going in to face Orosco, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. Never a hard thrower, Orosco now has games when he can't hit 85 MPH with his fastball. The running movement on his pitches makes life tougher on lefties than righties.

Defense & Hitting
Orosco is nothing special in the field. Basestealers have succeeded against Orosco because his pickoff move is weak for a lefthander. Orosco is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Orosco has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Orosco as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
Orosco flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly. But if you ask me, I'll pass on Orosco.
