Joe Orsulak
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
One of the nice things about Joe is that he's a real clutch hitter. Orsulak always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Orsulak when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Orsulak doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. In the past, his critics have accused Orsulak of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
One has to wonder what Joe Orsulak is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors.
