Hitting
One of the nice things about Luis is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Ortiz hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Luis's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Ortiz isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.
