Chris Pemberton
Center Fielder | Free Agents
Hitting The book on Pemberton is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Pemberton always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.
Baserunning & Defense Pemberton isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Pemberton you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.
2010 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Pemberton to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
