Pepper always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Pepper isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
The Atlanta Braves signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Pepper like a hot potato if something better comes along.
