He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Jack Picone to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
He's an adequate shortstops who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough. Picone isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Minnesota Horde were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best. Picone has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Minnesota Horde will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
