Bobby Pinto
Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Pinto has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Pinto is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Pinto always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. Minor league scouts have accused Pinto of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Pinto to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
