Bud Pittman
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Pittman has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Pittman always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Minor league scouts have accused Pittman of being a liability in the field. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Pittman isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Pittman to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
