Tim Raines
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Raines always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
No longer much of a threat to steal, he's smart enough to make pitchers pay if they ignore him. Raines doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.

2010 Outlook
If Raines doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
