Fred Ross
Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Pitching
If you're going in to face Ross, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Ross, and that's saying a lot. No one questions this guy's heart. They do question why he just can't get it done late in the game. He's almost as effective against righthanders as he is versus lefthanders.

Defense & Hitting
Ross is nothing special in the field. Basestealers have succeeded against Ross because his pickoff move is weak for a lefthander. Ross is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Ross has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Ross as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Ross.
