In past seasons, Salazar has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Bob Salazar to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Salazar is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Salazar to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
