Ed Scanlon
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Scanlon you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Scanlon to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
