Bartholome Simpson
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Simpson has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Simpson is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Bartholome Simpson to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Simpson isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
Simpson isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors. It's time for Bartholome to investigate other career options, like coaching highschool ball.
