Billy Slagle
First Baseman | Philadelphia Phillies

Hitting
He has a very quick bat and can adjust to a pitch's movement as well as any hitter in the game. Slagle always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Slagle uses the entire field and typically produces a couple of hitting streaks of 10 or more games during a season.

Baserunning & Defense
Slagle isn't a fluid first baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Slagle is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
