Lee Smith
Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Pitching
He tends to work slowly when in a jam, which just makes his problems worse by lulling his fielders to sleep. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Smith doesn't field his position well. Smith has a lousy move to first, and opposing managers will run against him all day. Smith is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Smith has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Smith as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
If Smith doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors. I just don't know if The Retired or Inactive Players are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
