Svensson always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Aggressive on the basepaths, Svensson is a good basestealer and takes the extra base when needed most. Though he can range pretty far in both directions, he has bad hands and often can't come up with balls. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
The Boston Red Sox signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Svensson like a hot potato if something better comes along.
