Joe Tewksbury
Center Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
In past seasons, Tewksbury has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Tewksbury is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Joe Tewksbury to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Tewksbury doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. Tewksbury doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Joe's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Tewksbury to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
