In past seasons, Trechock has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Trechock always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Trechock is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. When you play Trechock you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
