Let's face facts: VonDoom hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. Don't be surprised if The Los Angeles Dodgers's manager sits VonDoom when you throw your ace lefty. For some reason, he just can't figure out the southpaw.

Baserunning & Defense
He's an adequate first basemen who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.

2010 Outlook
The Los Angeles Dodgers signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop VonDoom like a hot potato if something better comes along.
