Ed Waits
Left Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
The book on Waits is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Waits always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Waits you're not putting him in for his glove. Ed's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Waits has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Waits to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
