Weinke never has been a patient hitter. The Free Agents do tend to sit Weinke when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Chris Weinke to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Weinke isn't a fluid first baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Weinke is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
