Weiss never has been a patient hitter. But Walt's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Weiss is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. When you play Weiss you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

Weiss flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
