Whitmore never has been a patient hitter. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Whitmore when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Whitmore is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
One has to wonder what Darrell Whitmore is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors.
