Gerald Williams
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Williams never has been a patient hitter. Williams always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm is below average but not a major weakness. Williams doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
If Williams doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
