Hitting
One of the nice things about Mike is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Mike Wright to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Wright you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. Wright isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Wright to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
