Pitching
His slider is sharp and breaks both horizontally and vertically. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Yan uses a slide step to keep runners close. Yan is nothing special in the field. Yan is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Yan has some pop in his swing.

2010 Outlook
Yan performance in AAA is making it difficult for the Atlanta Braves to ignore him much longer. Expect his name to be on the September call-up list. I really like what this guy brings to the table.
