Hitting
Zaske is an excellent mistake hitter who belts middle-of-the-plate fastballs or hanging breaking balls. He is easy prey for any righthander who can throw a slider off the outside corner. Zaske handles lefthanders who bring the ball into his quick hands much better. You can expect Heinz Zaske to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Zaske isn't a fluid right fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Zaske isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
The Idaho Sporks signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Zaske like a hot potato if something better comes along.
