Bill Zeller
Second Baseman | Free Agents
Hitting The book on Zeller is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Zeller always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense Zeller isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. Minor league scouts have accused Zeller of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.
2010 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Zeller to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
