Hitting
He sometimes will press in clutch situations and chase fastballs up and out of the zone. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Aceto isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
