Hitting
Bautista always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When his legs are healthy, Bautista is an excellent basestealer with good speed and first-step quickness. Bautista isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. He's also one of the better throwing centerfielders in the league.
