Jay Bell
Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Bell never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Bell has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Bell isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Bell you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
If Bell doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
