Mike Bierbauer
Catcher | Free Agents

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Bierbauer never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Bierbauer you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. Bierbauer has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Bierbauer to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
