Blackburn never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Blackburn has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect George Blackburn to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Blackburn isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Blackburn you're not putting him in for his glove. George's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Blackburn to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
