Hitting
Bodie always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Bodie isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Pittsburgh Pirates were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best. AA isn't the right place for Bodie. Expect the Pittsburgh Pirates to send him down for some minor retooling.
