Hitting
Bonds seems to become especially focused in big situations. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Bonds always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The switch-hitting Bonds has better plate coverage and more power from the left side than when he bats righthanded.
Baserunning & Defense
Minor league scouts have accused Bonds of being a liability in the field. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Bonds often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.
2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Bonds to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
