Hitting
Booles never has been a patient hitter. Booles always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Free Agents do tend to sit Booles when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Booles doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Booles you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Booles to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
