Frank Bostick
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Bostick is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Bostick always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Bostick often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Bostick to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
