Josh Brooks
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
The book on Brooks is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Brooks always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Brooks you're not putting him in for his glove. Josh's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Brooks isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Brooks to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
