Brosius never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Brosius is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough.

If Brosius doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
