Ed Burcham
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
The book on Burcham is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Burcham when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Ed Burcham to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Ed's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
