Jamie Cafego
Right Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Cafego never has been a patient hitter. Let's face facts: Cafego hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. It's hard to explain but Jamie Cafego plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Cafego signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Cafego you're not putting him in for his glove. Jamie's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Cafego isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Cafego to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
